is a writer, graphic artist, literary translator, publisher, illustrator, plant lover, herbalist, plant dyer, seakin, bird admirer, chirper.
Yes, existence is multiplicity, abundance, myriad. Živ živ.

Focused on poetry, plants, and nature, building on the complex of relationships between language and image, she connects the spaces of poetic language and visual arts that are organically, inseparably intertwined in her practice. The multiple artistic disciplines she pursues combine into a perception of the world imbued with poetic resonance, which is shared and communicated in her work. Her work emphasizes dimensions that are not exclusively human, be they plant, animal, or related to the weather, as a way of establishing contact – something akin to vibrations traveling between different life forms.

Her first language, and the language she mostly writes poetry in, is Croatian – an enclave of onomatopoeic sounds that are hard to translate into any other language, but people do their best. She has been publishing poetry in Croatian, German, and English in literary magazines and radio programs since 2012. Her first book of poems, “Good Demons Only”, will be published in Croatia in the spring of 2025 (HDP).

She is based in Vienna, Austria, where she navigates the multiple existences of language and being, culture and nature. Wherever she is, she invites the transformation and awareness of human relations towards (ourselves as part of) nature.

She is the co-founder of Dunjiva Kollektiv (Vienna) – focused on pursuing the connections between art and nature – and Artikularij (Zagreb) – dedicated to publishing unconventional literature in translation. Find out more at:

“No language knows of another. Each is its own center, recognizable only to those who embark on wild orbits around several galaxies and end up with multiple existences, gasping in the throng of more-being. Every language disappears without you, stored and described by your circling and scribbling in its landscapes. Every language dreams in peace and quiet. It believes, it is certain: somewhere, someone has written it all down already.”
