I Can See the Forest/I Am in the Forest

A2 poster, India ink pen drawings

This is an invitation for you to enter the forest.

To dwell in a space that is embedded in a non-urban, or what could be termed natural, environment.

It’s a place you can find if you are willing to take the time to look for it, a surprise and a kind of fairy tale reward. It embraces both the innate human desire for being in and connecting with nature and helps you ground and restore your attention. Both the imagined and the visible forest contribute to a different kind of spacemaking, which is at the same time a kind of worldmaking. So many things are so very quick that it is a relief to find one that is not. Here you can remember that only respectful immersion is not an intrusion, and an invocation is an invitation. So repeat with me until you find yourself there:

I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest
I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest I can see the forest I am in the forest
